The Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible Goes Digital

From the Third Millennium Ministries page on Facebook:

While NIV Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible (edited by Dr. Richard Pratt, Jr.) is no longer in print, it is available for download through iTunes.

When the SRSB went out of print a few years ago I was grieved. For so long I had recommended it to people who asked me what was ‘the best study Bible on the market.’ There are several fantastic study Bibles out there (the NLT Study and the ESV Study Bible come to mind), but I find the SRSB to be the most integrated study Bible available. It’s also consistently redemptive-historical in how it interprets the Bible.

Description: ‘The NIV Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible ebook provides a theologically conservative and balanced system of notes and articles that trace the Reformed Christian heritage back to its roots in the Reformation. An unparalleled resource for students of theology, pastors, and anyone who wants to explore the great doctrines, documents, and traditions of the Reformation, this Bible incorporates extensive study notes, as well as articles, charts, and graphs that comment on Scripture from a distinctly Reformed perspective. Included is the complete text of each of the six major Reformed doctrinal standards: the Heidelberg Catechism, the Westminster Confession, the Westminster Shorter Catechism, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, and the Westminster Larger Catechism. NIV 2011. The New International Version (NIV) translation of the Bible is the world’s most popular modern-English Bible—easy to understand, yet rich with the detail found in the original languages.’

Since taken out of print used copies have sold in the hundreds. $19.99 for the digital edition is a steal!
